Cocoa Protein Shake

 

Ingredients

  • 1 scoop of your favorite protein
  • 1/2 cup mixed frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (plain or coconut) for creaminess
  • 1/4 cup almond or oat milk (adjust based on desired consistency)
  • 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder (for a chocolatey touch, which pairs perfectly with berries)
  • 1/2 tsp chia or flax seeds (optional for added fiber and omega-3s)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes to taste
  • A few drops of stevia or agave syrup (optional, for added sweetness)

Instructions

  1.  Add all ingredients to a blender
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add more almond milk
  3. Serve in a large glass, and if desired, top with some fresh berries or an extra sprinkle of cocoa powder on top
